Reverence for the famous Wedgwood Jasperware Porcelain has been prevalent amongst the wealthy for years.

Large jardinieres, urns, vases, figures, tea services, and domed cheese dishes can run into the thousands of dollars. Older colors of lavender, black basalt, violet blue, pink and mustard-yellow are at premium prices. The avocado, olive or sage green is also very prized and has gained greatly in value. Two variants of blue, namely the light blue and dark blue became extremely popular and today is loved and collected by many.

To gain a wider market share, Wedgwood began producing smaller and more affordable pieces like little ring jars and little boxes. This way everyone who aspired to class could exhibit proudly Wedgwood jasperware thorough the household. Classy jewelry shops always carried a little Wedgwood section. Birks and Mappins Jewelry stores of Montreal, Canada  always carried Wedgwood. All Wedgwood Jasperware is truly an investment!
