Prior to so-called "designers of fashion", if we archaeologically and historically reflect to the dawning of man we will see and realize that mankind whether male or female has always adorned him or herself with articles of jewelry, belts, head adornment, coin purses and pouches, scarves, little boxes, etc.

Primitive tribes embellished themselves with little pieces of clothing and little pouches embellished with exotic thread embroidery, sequins, glass beads, gemstones and crystals on fabrics like pure silk, raw silk, cotton silk, cotton, satin, etc. Many materials were crudely available for ornate decoration. Primitive culture has always hand-made everything with great inspiration taken from the universe, namely the moon, sun, stars; also from animal and plant life. Tribal ritualism always was adorned by jewels that contained metals and minerals to create either negative or positive energy. In addition there was always a ceremonial head piece accompanied with ceremonial garb to lavish the occasion to evoke health, happiness and prosperity. At the time there were no "designers-to-the-stars" as modern day society dictates. However the pride and feeling of lavishing oneself with fashion accessories for women and men of primitive society has gone beyond ritual to opulent. Status symbolism has always been associated with accessories such as jewelry, clothes and other small items. Tribal wealth has gone to the zenith of modern day society.

From Royalty to prom queen, with today's glitz or rhinestone craze, any girl can be a princess or a queen. With such shimmering rhinestone jewelry of the past century any woman may accentuate her inner beauty whether it is at the office, party, opera or a stately event.

As we know from the array of color, sizes and shapes that is offered in the line of rhinestone jewelry, one can easily compliment her eye color, skin tone and complexion as well as her dress attire.  One may go from the petite reserved little splash of color to the bodacious larger bracelets, brooches, chokers, earrings and necklaces. Companies such as Park Lane, Sherman, Continental, Nina Ricci, Oscar De La Renta, Christian Dior and many other designers present to the lady of fashion a wide array of wonderful color, shapes and sizes to befitting of any occasion.

Several examples of ladies accessories in the jewelry category are illustrated to the right and should you wish to stroll through this category of our site you may encounter a piece of your choice by clicking on these links: Rhinestone or Ladies Accessories.
