Art Deco Cast Iron Vintage Galleon Table Lamp

This Art Deco Galleon (Sailing Ship) Table Lamp is exquisitely cast on a iron base metal with a copper plate over top.

It is unmarked, however it is of American origin and dates approximately 1930-1935. This is considered as Industrial Art Deco.

This is an ideal lamp if one wishes to do a nautical theme in decorating. On the other hand, it is an ideal lamp for a boy’s room in the fact of its durability and resilience to breakage. After all, it is cast iron and not porcelain or glass and is certainly less prone to breakage under normal circumstances.

Condition: Excellent! It has normal patina to some high points in that the copper plating is thinner and shows the dark iron base metal in some places. It has fine detail and has an open back to enable insertion of the light bulb. It comes with the original cord which is in great shape.
