OPALESCENT GREEN VINTAGE CANDY BASKET HOBNAIL PATTERN, C. 1960-80

This Petite Art Glass Candy Basket is of American origin and was manufactured approximately 1960-1980. The pattern is known as “Hobnail”. It measures 4 1/2” Diameter; from handle to handle it measures 3 1/4” Diameter; it has a Height of 7”. It has an attractive opalescence with a ruffled edge. It carries no manufacturer’s mark and could possibly be from the Westmoreland Glass Company. Many American glass factories produced this pattern because of its attractiveness and popularity amongst glass collectors. Unless marked, it is difficult to attribute to a specific glass factory.
