This Elegant Brilliant Period Cut Glass Fruit/Salad Bowl measures 9” Diameter by 4 1/4" Depth or Height and was made approximately 1900-1910. The geometric cutting consists of fans, hobstars and strawberry diamond contained within gothic arches on the sides punctuating the great 16 point hobstar at the bottom. It is of either American or Canadian manufacture. As we all know, many pieces from this era left the various factories unsigned.
COMMENT: Makes A Great Accessory At The Dining Room Table! The 9" bowls are scarcer than the 7" or 8" berry bowls. Because of its size it is more functional and may serve as a salad bowl.
CONDITION: EF condition! It is in very good shape except that there are four teeth that have slight chipping on the tips and some roughness on the other saw tooth rim. Not in terrible condition and may be polished out.
