This Fabulous Brilliant Cut Glass Globe Shape Pitcher was cut during the American Brilliant Period of glass cutting. Although not signed, from research, it is attributed to the Libbey factory. [The shape is illustrated throughout Bill and Louise Boggess’ books on American Cut Glass]. This lovely shape pitcher is referred to as the “Globe” shape. It has elaborate cutting of hobstars, strawberry diamonds and arches with a scalloped rim and zipper cutting on the underside of the lip with a honeycombed applied handle. This globe shape pitcher has exquisite cutting and great clarity of blank. It measures 8” in Height. It was originally used as juice or lemonade pitcher.
COMMENT: This Cut Glass Globe Pitcher can most definitely add a zesty sparkle of flavor to your morning juice at the breakfast table!

CONDITION: No cracks or major chips, but some very minor bruising that can be overlooked because of my beauty! EF condition.
