This Petite Ruby Red, Sterling Silver Overlay Blown Glass Vase is of Czechoslovakian origin and was manufactured approximately 1930-1940. The front scouts a Venetian “Church” Scene, whereas the opposite side scouts a “Gondola” Scene. The sterling is delicately applied. It measures 4 1/2" High.
COMMENT: Such little colored silver overlay pieces today are very desirable to the collector. It is indeed a charming little piece depicting the quality of our craftsmen of the past. It can definitely add a little sparkle of class to a little vitrine or curio cabinet!
CONDITION: Excellent! The entire silver overlay is in tact. There is no wear or rubbing to the silver overlay which is often the case for some of these older pieces.
