This Lavish Honey Gold Gilded English Porcelain Plate has exquisite hand painted petite violets & red roses executed upon a very white porcelain ground. Amidst the hand painted floral decoration is a hand applied honey gold gilded leaf design.
This Plate is hexagonal and measures 9 3/4" Diameter. Although unmarked, there is no doubt as to the English (Staffordshire) origin of this plate. As we all know, it is common knowledge that many of the earlier pieces of British porcelain left the various factories without any identifying factory marks.
COMMENT: For A Classy Touch of Georgian Times, this exquisite hand painted plate can add a reminiscent charm to any curio cabinet display!
CONDITION: Overall condition is very good. On the foot rim there is a very tiny chip. There are 2 minor frontal rim chips (that are illustrated in the accompanying photographs) that really do not disturb the charismatic beauty of this plate.Consequently we are offering you this beauty in "as is" condition.
As a common occurrence with some of the earlier Staffordshire porcelains, there is a very tiny glaze bubble on the front of the plate. Again, this does not disturb the beauty of this plate.
