This Sage Green, Kidney Shape, Jasperware Porcelain Covered Jar or Box was made by the Wedgwood factory of Etruria & Barlaston, England and is impressed “Wedgwood” and dates 1960. It measures 3 1/2" Length by 3” Width by 2 1/4" Height. It has a central Grecian scene framed by bas relief of roses on the lid and various Grecian scenes around the sides of the bottom section of the box.
COMMENT: This would make a classy and thoughtful little affordable gift for that woman in your life as an accessory to her vanity table!
