This Lovely Light Blue Jasperware Porcelain Jar or Box was made by the famous Wedgwood factories of Etruria & Barlaston, England and dates 1957 and has its marks impressed on the bottom. It measures 5 1/4” Diameter.
The border of the box has soft white oak leaves in relief with the scene of the “Sacrifice to Aesculapius” of Greek mythology.
COMMENT: This Jasperware Jar/Box has very nice scalloped sides. Ideal as a little jewelry box! It can most definitely enhance ones vanity table!
