This Vintage Rhinestone Thistle Brooch & Clip-on Earring Set is signed “MIRACLE” which is the trademark for A. Hill & Co., Birmingham, England. The company operated between 1946 to the present. This set dates approximately 1960. The Brooch measures 2 1/2'' Length; the Clip-on Earrings measure 5/8'' Length.
This Vintage Rhinestone Brooch contains three “round” cut amber crystal stones in “prong” settings with real marcasites on the leaves with a beautiful thistle atop each branch. The brooch is accompanied by a matching set of clip-on earrings. This exceptional brooch and earring set is executed upon a silver toned gun metal base. This company is well known for its Celtic jewelry and is renowned for its quality of workmanship.
