Joy M. Barlow Vintage Toleware Tray

What a great way to say that one loves the English Rose Gardens, that are world renowned, than to feast ones eyes upon this elaborately decorated toleware tray by the famous artist Joy M. Barlow.

This tray has a grand measurement of 20” Long by 15 3/4" Wide and was manufactured in England approximately 1960. 

COMMENT: This Gorgeous Toleware Tray, even though more contemporary, exhibits and captures the Victorian admiration and beauty of large colorful flowers as was the case in Victorian England.

The admiration of flower gardens by the English greatly extended itself into their decoration of many china, metal and wood pieces as a means to show the world their pride that extended from the English garden to other forms of art that gleefully surrounds them on a daily basis. 

The artist, Joy M. Barlow, surely takes us into a fantasy land of colorful roses and flowers in this exquisitely hand painted tray.

This tray can easily grace any side table or be just lovely to receive breakfast in bed on your day off work.

CONDITION: It is in fine condition except that it has some minor staining and slight spotting and minor wear to some of the hand painting which usually results from being used as a breakfast tray. However the staining is minimal and the beauty definitely outweighs this imperfection. Therefore this item is being offered to you in "as is" condition.
