This Gorgeous Hexagonal & Paneled Fruit/Salad Bowl was made during the Late Victorian Era and is more than likely of American manufacture and could be possibly from the McKee Glass Company, Jeanette, Pennsylvania, USA.
This lovely ruffled and flared bowl brags very elaborate work being that of large hobstars, strawberry diamonds, gothic arches and fans.
This piece is “pressed in a mold” and is not “Brilliant Cut”, as some people and dealers alike sometimes confuse. It measures 12 1/4" Diameter and dates approximately 1903-1910.
COMMENT: This truly is a beautiful example of American pressed glass at the turn of the century. It most certainly can grace any buffet luncheon either as a large fruit bowl or salad bowl and can enhance your dinner presentation especially if placed upon a silver tray.
CONDITION: Excellent!
