This Vintage Costume Jewelry Double Heart Brooch is signed “NINA RICCI” and was manufactured approximately 1950-1960. It is executed on a gold toned metal base with very ornate floral and geometric detail including a five point star design throughout. The larger heart holds a smaller heart from which a simulated pearl eloquently suspends. The top heart hangs 3 1/2” in Length as it joins with the smaller heart which hangs 1 3/4" in Length which proudly scouts a round pearl at its center. The brooch is tastefully executed on a gold toned metal base and is sheer elegance.

HISTORY OF NINA RICCI JEWELRY
Nina Ricci is a world renowned name as a houte couture designer both in clothing and fashion jewelry. She was atop of the Paris, France scene as early as 1908. In1908 she joined The House of Raffin until 1932 when she opened “The House of Ricci” with her son Robert. She died in 1970 after which her son Robert carried on the business in honor of his beloved mother.
