This Demi Parue Set Consists of An Emerald Green Cut Crystal Vintage Rhinestone Choker & Earrings. It is 24 Kt. Gold Plate on a heavy base metal. It is signed Nina Ricci. It was manufactured from 1980 onward. The Choker measures 18” Length; the Earrings measure approximately 1” Length by 1 1/2" Width which are "clip-on". The four emerald green stones in this choker are octagonal shape and are emerald cut and bezel set. The clear rhinestones that surround the emerald cut crystal stones are pave set. Each emerald cut crystal stone measures approximately 1” Length by 1/4” Width. The choker links are flexible in order to ascertain comfortable wear.

BRIEF HISTORY OF NINA RICCI
Nina Ricci is a world renowned name as a houte couture designer both in clothing and fashion jewelry. She was atop of the Paris scene in France as early as 1908. In 1908 she joined The House of Raffin until 1932 when she opened “The House of Ricci” with her son Robert. She died in 1970 after which her son Robert carried on the business in honor of his beloved mother.
At the time she was a direct competitor of Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel who was also during 1910 atop of the Paris fashion scene.
