This Delightful Set of Four English Bone China Cups & Saucers was manufactured by The Jackson & Gosling Co., (Ltd.), Grosvenor Works, Staffordshire, England and dates approximately 1919-1924.
The cup & saucer both have a wide band of apple green upon which there are hand painted multi-color floral sprigs which pronounces the hand painted rose & floral centers.
NOTE: These are to be sold only as a set of 4 and are not sold separately.The price stated is for all 4 cups & saucers.

CONDITION: They are in very good condition except for some minor wear to the hand painting, which is to be expected for cups & saucers of this vintage. Therefore we are offering this set of four cups and saucers in "as is" condition.
HISTORY OF JACKSON & GOSLING (GROSVENOR CHINA)
Grosvenor China was the trade name of a firm called Jackson & Gosling (Ltd) of Grosvenor Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. It was established in c1866 in Fenton and the Longton address dates from c1909.
The association with Copeland/Spode began in the early 1930’s when Arthur Edward Hewitt, of Grosvenor China, was appointed as a director of Copelands. Copelands purchased Grosvenor China and the combined company was incorporated as W. T. Copeland & Sons Ltd in 1932.
Jackson & Gosling China Company closed in 1969 and the trade name was no longer used.
