This Brilliant Cut Decanter was cut during The “American Brilliant” Period of Glass Cutting. It does not carry a signature, therefore it maybe considered either as American or Canadian. It has great miter cutting as well as great clarity of blank. The geometric cutting consists of a starburst & strawberry diamond motif with a clean scalloped neck. It stands 9” High without the stopper; with the stopper, it stands 12” High. At the center it has a 5 1/2" Diameter.
COMMENT: For an after dinner liqueur, this brilliant period cut glass decanter is one of distinction at an affordable price.
CONDITION: BTEF condition. It is in very fine condition. There is no chipping but it does have very faint cloudiness on the interior which is common for many crystal decanters. It is not heavy cloudiness. The stopper does have a little bruising or flea bites at the high points of cutting which are barely noticeable. There is no chipping to the stopper where one normally finds chipping which is at the base of the stopper. Therefore this item is being offered in "as is" condition.
