This Brilliant Cut Glass Powder Jar Was Cut During The “American Brilliant” Period of Glass Cutting. It is unsigned and consequently may be attributed either as American or Canadian. It measures 5 1/2” Diameter by 3 1/4" High. The miter cutting consists of buzz saw, hobstar within hobstar, with an expanding star at each apex of the central triangle. This cut glass jar has exquisite cutting with great clarity of blank.
COMMENT: A Wow Piece for The Vanity Table/Powder Room!
Many pieces of brilliant cut glass at this time period left the factories unsigned. Generally speaking, many pieces began to carry an acid etched signature after 1905 and it became more commonplace for pieces to leave the various factories with factory logo signature.
