BRILLANT CUT GLASS BRANDY OR SHERRY DECANTER BELL SHAPE

This Petite Bell Shape American Brilliant Cut Glass Decanter was cut during The “American Brilliant” Period in Glass Cutting. It Stands 10 1/4” High with the stopper; 9” High without the stopper. The pattern consists of the “Star of David” with internal strawberry diamond cutting. Expanding star at the apex of the geometric cutting is accompanied with arches and cross hatching. The base is rayed. It is unsigned which means that it may be attributed as either American or Canadian. To be unsigned was a common practice for many factories prior 1905.
