This Stunningly Gorgeous Vintage Triple Strand Black Glass Choker is possibly of American origin. It measures 18” Long and was manufactured approximately 1950-1960. The triple strand of black glass beads is joined by a large black glass medallion that is outlined by a gold toned metal trim and backing.
COMMENT: This indeed is a very classy and appropriate choker to wear on any formal occasion!
CONDITION: This lovely choker is in fine condition. There is some minor wear to the large glass central stone which may be polished or buffed if bothersome.
It is normal for such vintage jewelry to show some minor surface wear to the metal backing. In the trade such condition is known as "patina." Afterall, this is not "new" jewelry and it has been worn on many occasions over the years. A certain amount of wear is acceptable and should be expected.
