Canadian Vintage Costume Opalescent Brooch

This Hand Made Vintage Costume Opalescent Glass or Faux Opal Oval Brooch measures 1 3/4" Length (top to bottom) by 2 5/8" Width (left to right) and dates circa 1960-1980. The brooch has an azure blue sky with three doves or seagulls in the sky with an ocean at the bottom. It has four faux or simulated opals that are bezel set, all of which are executed upon a silver tone metal base with a silver tone beaded edge .

COMMENT: This Is A Very Funky Vintage Costume Hand Made Brooch That Has The Laid Back Look Of Santa Fe. 

CONDITION: This opalescent stone brooch is in very good condition. It shows some patina on the metal back.

It is normal for such vintage jewelry to show some minor surface wear to the metal backing. In the trade such condition is known as "patina." Afterall, this is not "new" jewelry and it has been worn on many occasions over the years. A certain amount of wear is acceptable and should be expected.
