English Antique Nickel Silver Fish Set H. Samuel Statesman

This Stately Antique Silverplate Fish Set comes with its original oak box. The blades and forks are ornately hand chased with a scroll motif. The service is for six place settings. Each piece carries the English silversmith’s initial being: J.A.S. On the band of each handle is stamped EPNS which is Electroplated Nickel Silver.

The knives measure 8 1/2" Length;

The forks measure 7 1/8" Length

The box measures 9 1/2" Width by 13" Length by 1 7/8" Height.

COMMENT: Elegance of fine dining is once again exhibited when presented a meal of fish that is accompanied by these lovely fish forks and knives. Each piece is exquisitely hand chased with a French ivory handle.

CONDITION: The overall condition of this silverplate fish set is fine.  The ivory handles are in very good condition. There is no staining to the handles. However the box being the age that it is, is a little tattered.
