BAVARIAN VINTAGE PORCELAIN BLUE FLORAL PLATE

This Very Delicate and Refined Porcelain Plate is made by either the Schumann or Hutschenreuther factories of Bavaria, Germany post War II, Circa 1945-1955. It measures 10” Diameter. It has a nicely hand painted multi colored floral rose center with lovely embossing on a scalloped border and ornate 24 Kt. gold gilded baroque work in the border resting on a band of Sevres blue to give the central floral scene that zestful bounce that the flowers have already begun.

COMMENT: This plate with its artistically hand painted center shows the simplicity of Mother Nature with her array of soothing color against a restful blue border that says put me in your china cabinet and enjoy looking at me, I am all yours!

CONDITION: It is in great condition except for minor wear to a few of the high points of the embossing, which is standard acceptable wear with pieces that have embossing and that are of this vintage. Therefore this porcelain plate is being offered in "as is" condition.
