This Enchanting Neo-Classical Style Porcelain Cabinet C was manufactured by the VEB Special Porcelain Eisenberg of Thuringa Germany GDR (East Germany) dates 1973-1976.
The canister shaped cabinet cup with its scrolled handle, cobalt blue band, delicate hand painted petite rose sprigs and lavish gold gilding is also executed on the deep bowl saucer. The mark has two crossed swords with a crown and the initials S E P inside the swords, MADE IN GDR at the bottom all in gold.
COMMENT: The Neo Classical Style of this Cabinet Cup lends an air of elegance to any curio cabinet. This is definitely a cabinet cup & saucer that is not to be overlooked! The fine quality of this porcelain cabinet cup attests to the exquisite quality of porcelain manufactured by this factory in this region of Germany for about two centuries.
CONDITION: Excellent! What you are seeing on the foot rim of the cup is not damage rather a reflection of light while photo was being taken. Pardon the intrusion!
