DRESDEN STYLE VINTAGE GERMAN PORCELAIN FIGURINES

This pair of unmarked porcelain figurines is made by one of the Dresden factories in Germany and dates approximately 1930-1940. Each figurine measures 8 1/4” Height by 3 1/2” Diameter (base).

This Charming Pair of Lady & Gentleman Figurines is well modeled from fine porcelain and is beautifully hand painted in pleasing colors of avocado green for the lady’s hat and vest; her dress has a tinge of pale yellow on white. The gentleman’s coat is deep mustard with a white vest and burgundy pants. Both have ruffled collars and sleeves with laced cloth dipped in porcelain and are standing on a rococo styled base.

COMMENT: The facial features of these figurines are well executed and depict great detail of admiration for one another by the subjects. This pair of figurines certainly can complement your figurine collection.
