ENGLISH ANTIQUE ROLLED GOLD & ENAMEL HEART LOCKET [SOLD]

This Charming And Exquisite Art Nouveau Antique Rolled Gold Heart Locket was manufactured in England during the Victorian era and dates approximately 1890-1900. It measures approximately 1” Length by 3/4" Width. Inside it holds a daguerreotype photograph which is framed by a beautiful hand cut and beveled glass face that is raised. The front side has a delicate hand chased floral motif whereas the reverse side (back) has elaborate cobalt enamel stylized leaf work.

CONDITION: Great! It is normal for most gold filled or rolled gold lockets to have slight discoloration on the interior (inside) of the locket. By the experts, this condition is considered “patina” which attests to age and time of production of the lockets.
