This Bold & Beautiful Vintage Wall Hanging Bowl was manufactured by the Granit Factory of Hungary approximately 1940 and measures 9" Diameter.
The central floral theme is a floral spray that is completely hand painted in polychrome vibrant colors of pink, turquoise blue, white, yellow and green emphasized by an enameled white ground color that is topped off with a red border.
The naivety of the hand painting adds to the charismatic charm and winning feature of this bowl. The bowl has a hole in the foot rim which was intended in production in order that the bowl be hung on a wall.
COMMENT: Elegance and country charm bestows this gorgeous bowl! It would be fitting of a country cottage setting!
