MURANO AQUA BLUE RUFFLED VINTAGE GLASS VASE

This Large Ruffled Glass Vase is free-blown and is of Murano Manufacture. It dates approximately 1960-1970. It has a very pleasing “Aqua Blue” Color and is gracefully fluted & ruffled. It is made in a very Art Nouveau Style. It stands 8” High and is 8 1/2" Diameter at the base.

COMMENT: For centuries the Murano glass makers have been world renowned for their techniques and high quality of glass blowing. This specific vase is a fine example of their modern glass which is done in a traditional Victorian flavor. With its dramatic shape and color, this vase is inducible to a magnificent floral arrangement. A floral arrangement in this vase at the hall entrance certainly would be a classy way to welcome your guest.

CONDITION: Excellent! The bottom carries an unpolished pontiff mark which lends to the authenticity of this piece having being free blown. This pontiff mark is not damage as some may think.
