SCANDINAVIAN VINTAGE BLOWN CRYSTAL DECANTER

This Unusual Triangular Shape Blown Crystal Decanter is of Scandinavian origin. Although unmarked, it is possibly “Orefors” manufacture, which would be Swedish. With the stopper, it measures 10” High; without the stopper, it measures 7 3/4" High. The Diameter is 3 3/4". It has a cut and polished bottom. Some people would argue that this could possibly be American made and produced by Erickson who was known for his bubbles in his glass. However we are inclined to believe this decanter to be of Scandinavian origin. It has a very interesting triangular shape with indentation on each side that promotes easy handling. The whole decanter is free blown and is not blown in a mold.

CONDITION: The decanter is in excellent condition save for the “bubble stopper” which has slight bruising to the bottom. The stopper has a polished pontiff. Condition was taken into consideration while establishing a fair market value.
