This Wonderful Lithograph Toffee Tin was manufactured by the Bensons Confectionery Co., Ltd., England and dates approximately 1930-1940. The colour of this tin is red with a candy man illustrated on three sides.
"This factory opened in 1919 and didn't close until 1989. It was situated at Bell Lane/Rochdale Old Road, Bury. Now there is an Aldi supermarket where it used to exist. If you enter the postcode BL9 6DF in streetmap.co.uk it will show you just where it used to exist."

CONDITION: It is in fine condition except for very minor wear near edges of lid which is to be expected with such vintage tins.
