BRIEF HISTORY OF WATCH FOBS: Watch Fobs were always popular during the Victorian times and continue to be so up to present day. The fob chain is simple in set-up. One end of the piece has the fob attached and the other has a connector for the watch. The watch is then placed in a trouser or vest or blouse pocket with the fob portion dangling out to show off. Women commonly wore very ornate little fobs such as decorated balls or baskets of flowers or lockets while men today still wear the heavy machinery fobs that are so collectible along with stone spinner fobs and a variety of other types including fraternal organization fobs.
