ENGLISH ARTS AND CRAFTS ANTIQUE GOLDEN OAK BUFFET [SOLD]
This Arts & Crafts Antique Golden Oak Buffet was manufactured during the Arts & Crafts Movement and dates approximately 1890-1910 and is of European origin, specifically England.
COMMENT: This Very Attractive Antique Golden Oak Buffet exhibits all the fine detail and craftsmanship of the European Arts & Crafts Movement Period Furniture. It was manufactured at the apex of the Arts & Crafts Movement in England when this style in furniture design, pottery making, glassware and sculptures was permeating all throughout Europe and the United States of America.
DESCRIPTION: This golden oak buffet has two side drawers at the top section. As we descend, we are greeted with two side doors each of which has a round panel with a button center. In the center, there is a door which goes all the way from the top to the bottom of the buffet. The top portion of the center door is ornately carved; the bottom section of the center door has a carved diamond panel. The middle door and two drawers have a scalloped trim around the exterior.
FURNITURE COMPANY & HISTORY: No labels were found. Therefore attribution to a specific factory is not possible at this time.

CONDITION: Overall condition is excellent except for a light discoloration on each of the two round panels on each side door. Possibly occurred from spillage of a hot liquid while serving to the dining room table. This is not serious and is not terribly noticeable. It may be colored with an oak stain.
