With its renowned old world antique charm, this Stiffel table lamp is beautifully cast in an urn shape with gracious enamel panels atop and bottom of intersecting solid cast brass.

    It is accompanied with a quality pleated tan shade. Both lamp and shade is signed STIFFEL It was manufactured approximately 1960-1970.

    Stiffel lamps were known to have been retailed through high-end department stores and Mappins Jewelry stores of Montreal during the 1960s and 1970s. In Canada, Stiffel was always associated with class and quality.

    HISTORY OF STIFFEL:

    Ted Stiffel founded the Stiffel Lamp Company in Chicago, USA approximately 1932. The Stiffel Company with its great designers has always strived for old world antique charm and excellence of design and standard of product. The Stiffel Company has always been known and recognized as a leader in innovative lighting and lamp designs.

    Each and every product manufactured by the Stiffel Company bears its unique foil signature reflecting exquisite finishing, meticulous detailing and proper weighting. Stiffel Lamps are made of various metals and adorned with innovative designs.

    A Stiffel designed lamp is always recognizable because of its high quality and unique detail regardless if the foil signature has fallen off over the years. Since 2000, Salton Lamp Company has acquired this long standing reputable lamp company.

    Side Note: All table lamps are sold for the value of their bases and not for the value of their shades. If shades come with lamps, they are included as complimentary at no extra charge. With or without the shades, the lamps are the same price. Should a client wish not to take the complimentary shade, lamp prices will not be adjusted.

    Condition:
    Slight rubbing to the enamel in a few places. Other than this minor defect, the lamp is in great condition! Such minor wear can be professionally restored.
