This Fabulous Set or Nest of Four Graduating Oval Porcelain Serving Dishes with its great perforated work on borders trimmed in 24 Kt. gold gilding was made by the Carl Schumann factory, Germany dates approximately 1950-1960.
These oval dishes are of very fine quality porcelain with an exquisite hand painted polychrome floral bouquet in the center of each bowl, surrounded by smaller colorful flowers framing the central theme. The border has alternating panels depicting the bird of paradise with apple green strips between each medallion that contains the bird of paradise which is painted in crimson color outlined by a lavish 24 Kt. gold gilded beaded edge.
