CARA CHINA VINTAGE BONE CHINA FLOWER BROOCH

This Delicate and Petite Pastel Vintage Costume Bone China Brooch was manufactured by The Cara China Company of Longton, Staffordshire, England approximately 1945 onward until about 1960. It measures 2 1/4" Width (left to right) by 1 1/2" Height (top to bottom). This little flower is hand crafted and hand painted underglaze in pastel colors of pink and yellow and bounces upon a scalloped leaf background. The china brooch is placed upon a gold tone metal oval plate.

COMMENT: 'Sweet Effervescence' appropriately describes this attractive English fine bone china brooch!

CONDITION: Overall condition is fine except for a little flea bite to the top portion of the pink petal, nothing that a little fingernail polish couldn’t help! Therefore this item is being offered in "as is" condition.

Because of the fragility of such bone china brooches, many of these are found with minor chips or flea bites. Sometimes some of these left the factories with underglaze chips. Similar to their counterparts, namely the “floral arrangement centerpieces” or “floral clusters” that were produced, many floral arrangements or clusters left the various factories with minor chips.
